Lauren Tramel, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Lauren loves to get people moving, active and feeling young again, even after years of aches and pains.

Lauren graduated cum laude from South College-Asheville with an A.A.S. degree in 2016, where she was the valedictorian of her PTA class and was consistently on the Dean’s List. She was licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) October 2016, and is excited to begin her PTA career with Volk Physical Therapy! Her clinical experience was mostly outpatient, though she also worked in skilled nursing facilities and in pediatrics. Lauren gets to know each client individually and likes to tailor each therapy session around activities that are important to them. She loves to learn new skills and concepts and cannot wait to grow as a PTA!

Lauren was born and raised in Asheville, NC, but relocated to the Charlotte area in November of 2016. She has a passion for sports, so in her spare time you will likely find her at a Carolina Panthers game, or cheering on the Tarheels at the Dean Smith Center. She loves spending time with friends and family, adventuring to new places, and discovering the city of Charlotte!
